Fairbridge Festival
In 2009, Sambanistas and our beautiful Samba ladies took over the dance tent for a Samba dance workshop. We were also thrilled to lead the parade on the last day of the festival.

Perth Pride Parade 2009
This year's Homecoming theme saw the largest number of floats for many years. Our traditional post-parade jam session with Perth's other Samba bands was awesome!

On the left you can see a list of some of our major events we've performed in - as there's too many to list! We also do performances for charity organisations, such as: Camp Quality, Juvenile Diabetes Association, The Variety Club, Leukaemia Foundation etc... We also have supported events such as the International Volunteers Day, Mental Health Week, and Harmony Day

  • Samba Reggae 2 - a slower hypnotic Salvadorean-style reggae skanking feel
  • Hip Hop - full bateria arrangement of the popular dance rhythm
  • Maculele - Brazilian capoeira dance rhythm
  • Maracatu - Very traditional Brazilian carnival rhythm
  • Cha Cha Loca Funk - A very funky Brazilian rhythm indeed!
